Preview Night!!!
The day has finally arrived! Preview Night 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Hatton Gallery!
The curators are still busy busy busy! Finishing up with the final touches, cleaning, organizing, and matting labels.

Busy Busy Busy!!!
We have been really busy the last couple days!
The multi-language audio guides are recorded and sound great! Thanks to everyone who helped out. This project has really shown the diverse international culture at Newcastle University. Diversity is a beautiful thing… and sounds good too!
We had interviews today with several different artists that are being featured in the exhibition. Now...

One Week!
Only one week until the preview night and our show opens! So much more to do but we are very excited! It’s going to be a great show! Hope to see everyone there on the preview night March 31 from 6:00 - 8:00!
Exciting Update!
We have picked our final pieces that will be displayed in our exhibition! Everything seems to be coming together nicely. Our exhibition is going to look great and we are excited for everyone to check it out!

Show Me the Money!
The curators went over the budget today, covering anything from wine to framing. We have had great success with sponsors, which has helped us out immensely with our budgeting. The curators could not be more thankful!
We also met with the Hatton Gallery curator and went over layout, framing, and the final pieces that will be displayed from the Hatton Gallery’s permanent collection.
Short List
The curators are busy meeting quite frequently now that we are approaching the last weeks before the opening! Our most recent meeting focused on getting a short list nailed down of what pieces we want in our exhibition. The final list should be sorted in the next couple of days.
We have been able to confirm more sponsors this week that are generously willing to help us out. Its much appreciated!...
Team Meetings
Another busy week of meetings! Our Education, Marketing, and Interpretation teams have all been meeting this week and have shared some exciting updates.
The Education team has finalized ideas for workshop activities and is busy organizing and sourcing materials for them!
The Marketing team has been sorting out sponsorships for the opening reception as well as getting out word to local radio...
Another Successful Meeting!
The curators had another successful meeting today, discussing topics ranging from wine to installation!
Our education team has been putting together workshops for both adults and children as well as organizing curator led tours on Saturday mornings!

Progress!
Our press release is being edited and will be out shortly. We have a freelance graphic designer busily working away on our posters and flyers! We also have a printing company set up that will be working with us.
Our marketing team is currently busy getting the word out and working on fund raising. We are also narrowing down the final pieces that will be on display during the exhibition.
